Jute zakje (steunkussentje) ongevuld

4,75

This small burlap bag (size 8×18 cm) is a fantastic extra tool when making 3D wool sculptures. You can use this on your original needle felting surface as support for your project, for example the head or you place this bag between the legs/legs of your project to add details.

You can also use this burlap bag to make small hats or bird nests. The jute bag is delivered unfilled. Er zijn ook gevulde steunkussentjes beschikbaar, gemaakt van 100% wolvilt en jute.

Unlike the usual foam blocks burlap is completely biodegradable (within 1-2 years). You can use the rice you use over and over again.

Er past ongeveer 200 gram droge rijst in dit zakje.

Description

How it works:
You fill the burlap bags with rice of your choice. The jute we use is 'seat quality'. It means a 'fine' burlap. You can use both broken rice and whole grains of rice. The bag should absolutely not be filled tightly, so make sure that there is room to move in the bag. You can tie the bag with the string that is attached to it in the corner by pulling it tight and putting a knot in it. If you want the bag to be firmer and completely closed, sew it with a simple small hand stitch with a needle and thread.

Important:
The burlap can wear out. So work in all parts of your bag, not just in the middle. Also turn it over every now and then. This extends the life of your jute bag. Also lift your work occasionally so that the wool does not get stuck too deeply in the burlap. You may tear your burlap differently.
